Consequence Writing Prompt Instructions:
Past, Present, and Future: We all make mistakes. What we must do is put them behind us and set ourselves up so that we do not make the same mistakes again. In complete sentences hand-write your answer to the following three questions: (Past) What did I do to get in trouble? (Present) How do I feel now? (Future) How will I avoid this in the future?
Letter of Apology: Letters of apology are written when a person injures another person socially, mentally, emotionally, or physically. Part of apologizing is acknowledging what you have done to hurt the other person, empathizing with them, asking for forgiveness, and making a plan to not repeat the incident. In a complete hand-written paragraph (at least five sentences) describe how you hurt the other person, put yourself into his/her shoes, apologize and ask for forgiveness, and then make a plan for the future. Be sure to write neatly and sign your name.
