I am pleased to be back in the second grade classroom after 5 1/2 years in the computer lab as a technology specialist. I loved learning about and using technology. It was wonderful meeting with all 350+ students and 22+ teachers, but now I’m ready to get back to just 17 students and working with 2 grade level colleagues again. I have so much I want to do to support the whole learning of children. What I have learned in the lab will certainly be used in the classroom but I look forward to teaching reading, writing, and math again and to witnessing children’s curiosity as they learn about the world through science and social studies.
