Quick Introduction

Greene Central School is a great place to work, learn and grow. We are fortunate to have wonderful staff members and students. It is my expectation as principal of GCS that all students deserve to be safe from “pick up to drop off” and that education is our primary function. It is essential in today’s world that students learn how to learn. Reading, writing, math, technology and social skills are absolutely necessary for the future success of our children.

We have a clear goal: Gator Pride means striving to do our best socially and academically.

One of the biggest factors in school success for students is parent involvement. There are many ways that parents can remain involved in their child(ren)’s education. Parents can:
* check homework regularly
* communicate with teachers
* read with their child
* maintain high expectations for their child
* make sure their child is rested, fed and in school
* model reading and writing at home

I enjoy meeting people from the Greene community. If you have yet to have the opportunity to talk with me, please feel free to drop by the school or schedule a time to come in to talk. I can be reached at 946-5681 or by e-mail at pdoyen@msad52.org. I look forward to hearing from you.
