March 10: Mrs. Cilley and Mrs. Ballou

It certainly does seem as though spring has arrived early! Our students are enjoying the warmer weather and the recess games that come along with it. They have traded in their sleds and shovels for baseball bats and hula hoops, and lots of fun is being had outside. In spite of the long stretch of beautiful weather, please be sure to check the temperature daily and dress your child accordingly.

On March 2nd, we celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday. The children had the chance to sign up for a special activity in on of the participating classrooms (four multi-age and Mr. Fotter’s second grade.) This gave the students a chance to spend time in another classroom mingling with different students while enjoying a favorite Seuss book.

We have thoroughly enjoyed all of the habitat projects that have come in! Each child presented their diorama to their classmates,  and then had their project displayed in the  viewing cases in the TPS lobby. What an exciting learning process this has been for our students. We appreciate the time and effort that was put into these projects at home.
